The main feature for the junior hacksaw is its strong construction with patented quick-blade-release mechanism. The square solid iron frame increases durability and ensures higher tension. The blade changing lever below the handle makes blade release quicker and also maintains the tension setting memory. The included heat-treated high carbon steel blade is 6 inch (150mm) in length with 32 teeth per inch for cutting plastic and metal. The bi-material plastic handle means comfortable and easy to grip.
