16inch (400mm) Tenon Saw

This tenon saw has a longer blade of 16 inch (400mm) and a sturdy steel spine. Its high-quality SK5 steel blade provides greater strength for longer service life. This tenon saw has 11TPI and normal hard-point teeth for cross cutting. The maximum depth of one cut is about 4-1/8 inch (105mm). The blade is held securely to the handle with screws. The bi-material handle features better control and comfort grip. The primary use is to cut large miters. This tenon saw can be used with our miter box of YU-4004.

The blade which is made from SK5 Japanese high carbon steel is designed for accurate cuts on tenons, miters, and dovetails. Its normal teeth are impulse hardened for smooth cuts and longer sharpness. A firm back prevents bending for stability. The comfortable bi-material handle is securely fixed with screws. The hole at the end of the blade allows users to hang this tenon saw on a hook for storage.
