A tapered blade whose length is 12 inch (300mm) is made of high carbon steel. This compass saw, similar to a drywall saw, has an impulse-hardened normal tooth design for cutting in confined spaces where a larger saw cannot work. Teeth with 7 teeth per inch are designed for quick rough cuts. The open grip handle is made of hardwood giving a comfortable feel and fixed by two screws for secure. The finger ridge in the middle of the handle is designed to avoid getting out of a hand during strong push stroke.
